GRAVITAS VENTURES ACQUIRES ‘AGONY’ STARS ASIA ARGENTO

LOS ANGELES (March XX, 2020) — Gravitas Ventures, a Red Arrow Studios company, has acquired worldwide rights to horror-thriller, Agony (fka The Executrix) starring Asia Argento (Land of the Dead, XXX, Marie Antoinette), Franco Nero (Django Unchained, John Wick: Chapter 2), Rade Serbedzija (Batman Begins, Mission: Impossible II, Snatch).
The film is directed by Michele Civetta. Agony will release in theaters and on demand April 3, 2020.
Called unexpectedly to Tuscany to execute her estranged mother’s will and majestic estate, a discontented New York family woman (Asia Argento) must decipher visions of her forgotten childhood and confront a spectral “Lady in Red,” whose dark secret unlocks a terrifying destiny.
Shot in the Italian countryside, Agony showcases impressive locations throughout the film, fully encapsulating viewers.
