Il 19 settembre 2021 verranno assegnati gli Emmy Awards e, anche se non si sa ancora in che modalità avverranno le premiazioni, sono stati resi noti i titoli che più hanno convinto sul piccolo schermo, tanto da meritarsi una o più candidature. Senza dubbio spicca il testa a testa tra The Crown e The Mandalorian, che guidano con 24 candidature ciascuna, mentre sul gradino più basso del podio si trova WandaVision, con 23, seguita da Ted Lasso con 20. A livello di produzione, HBO e Netflix hanno ricevuto rispettivamente 130 e 129 nomination, mentre Disney+ è arrivata a 71.
