Sono moltissime le novità annunciate dalla Disney durante l'Investor Day e senza dubbio una grossa parte riguarda la galassia di Star Wars, pronta ad espandersi nuovamente sul grande e sul piccolo schermo, dopo il recente trionfo di The Mandalorian, serie riconfermata per la terza stagione, in arrivo nell'inverno del 2021. Proprio dalla serie creata da Jon Favreau e Dave Filoni arrivano i primi progetti:

Ahsoka

Serie in arrivo su Disney+ con protagonista Rosario Dawson, già ammirata nei panni di Ahsoka Tano nella seconda stagione di The Mandalorian

La serie, ambientata 10 anni dopo Star Wars Episodio III, vedrà Hayden Christensen nuovamente nei panni di Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader

Serie tv dalla creatrice di Russian Doll e che sarà ambientata circa 200 anni prima di La minaccia fantasma e direttamente legata ad High Republic



Annunciato anche un film, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, con la regia di Patty Jenkins e che arriverà nei cinema a Natale del 2023
