Netflix ha da poco pubblicato un video di presentazione dei film in arrivo sulla piattaforma nel 2021. A chiudere il video, non a caso, è il titolo in assoluto più atteso: Don’t Look Up. Il film sarà diretto da Adam Mckay (La Grande Scommessa, Vice – L’uomo nell’ombra) e vedrà come protagonisti Leonardo DiCaprio e Jennifer Lawrence. I due non sono però le uniche star presenti nel film, il cast è composto anche da Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep, Rob Morgan, Himesh Patel, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Matthew Perry, e Tomer Sisley.

Don’t Look Up non ha ancora una data di rilascio né un trailer ufficiale, per ora sappiamo che racconterà di due astronomi che avvisano l’intera razza umana che una cometa si schianterà sulla terra distruggendo il nostro pianeta.

Naturalmente il film di McKay non è il solo ad essere annunciato e a destare interesse. Sono tantissimi i film presentati da The Rock, Gal Gadot e Ryan Reynolds e pare proprio che Netflix intenda puntare sempre di più sulle star di Hollywood. Nelle pellicole di prossima uscita troveremo infatti, tra gli altri, Octavia Spencer, Melissa McCarthy, Dave Bautista, Idris Elba, Andrew Garfield, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, Chris Hemsworth.
