Durante un recente episodio di "The Empire Film Podcast", Edgar Wright e Quentin Tarantino hanno svelato l'esistenza di un loro personale club cinefilo improvvisato durante i mesi di lockdown:

"È stato carino: ci siamo tenuti in contatto come fanno i cinefili. È stata una delle pochissime benedizioni di questa pandemia: la possibilità di scomparire in una sorta di tana del coniglio" ha raccontato Wright.

Ma le curiosità non finiscono qui: pare che Martin Scorsese abbia curato buona parte della selezione, inviando a Wright una lista di 50 film inglesi, inclusi tra i suoi lungometraggi preferiti di sempre.

"Edgar ha condiviso la lista con me, ho iniziato a segnare i titoli e questo ha condotto anche me nella tana del coniglio: visto che sono molto competitivo, dovevo trovare anche io i miei film" ha aggiunto Tarantino.
